A very well established Graphic Consultancy providing value added pre-media services into the Atlanta Market has retained our services as they are looking for a Director of Process Engineering for their firm (position is based in Atlanta). Looking for someone with a strong background in prepress and the graphics workflow production process from concept to design to print. Ideal background would be an experienced Packaging or Process Engineer having a passion for process improvement that leads to better quality, lower cost and improved timelines. Management experience is not required. This company is a graphic consultancy that supports the packaging & advertising departments of large consumer goods companies going from the idea through digital pre-press all the way to the press (they do not print). This company provides Art Development working closely with the Corporate Brand Managers and Ad Agencies where they work with the raw packaging designs and make them printable. We need a team player that understands production workflows. Must understand Pre-press and Packaging Design and understand the supply chain from raw design to printing.
This position will monitor work flows, make things more efficient, point out areas of improvement and suggest technical solutions. Bachelors Degree required (Degree in Packaging or Engineering preferred). Ideally looking for 10+ years of experience with a consumer packaging company, a prepress supplier or a large packaging print converter. Please email resume to julie@rsipeople.com .
